There is no reason to leave jewelry sitting untouched in a drawer. This beautiful diamond came out of just such a piece of neglected jewelry. The customer brought the old ring to us at our Custom jewelry store, with a picture of a simple, rustic type ring she wanted made from the old ring. She asked if we could make the top look like a lotus flower but keep the hand wrought look and feel of the example she brought us. Below is the piece of Custom jewelry we came up with. The wax for the ring was carved, cast in white gold, and the diamond set, all in store, in a total of 3 days. It is rare when we have such a fast turn around time on a completed piece of jewelry, but it feels good when we do. The customer was happy and we think you will be too.
My partner and I are so happy with how this ring turned out. I literally explained what I wanted in one sentence and the guy read my mind and made it exactly how I visioned it. We wanted something unique and untraditional with a boheimian look and the artist was spot on. I am so glad my diamond does not have to sit in a drawer anymore. We will definitely be back for our wedding bands!
