Designed based off a few pictures captured from a website, this Moissanite in 14kw Gold Classic Ring Reproduction came out better than even we had hoped. It had been a long time since we had done any work with Moisanite. When Moisanite first came on the market, it tended to have a green tint. That problem appears to have been resolved, and we can now confidently recommend them to customers who want a diamond look, without the diamond price. This ring is a great example of our Custom jewelry making abilities. It showcases the blending of state of the art computer design, and the old world skills of stone setting and hand engraving. Both come together to create a work of art, like this Moissanite in 14kw Gold Classic Ring Reproduction.

This beautiful Tanzanite and Diamond in 14ky Gold was created using the customers stones and upcycled gold. The stunning Tanzanite stone was purchased in the Caribbean and has been sitting in a jewelry box for many years. Jewelry is meant to be worn. Custom jewelry is meant to flaunted. With a little collaboration between our customers and Custom, amazing things can be accomplished. Pink Sapphire Diamond 14k Yellow Gold Engagement Ring and Band

This Pink Sapphire Diamond 14k Yellow Gold Engagement Ring and Band was a bittersweet job. We had just made a wedding band to match the original engagement ring, when 2 weeks later both rings were stolen. Luckily the Engagement ring was insured, and we were able to recreate both missing rings. It is very important to have your jewelry insured. This is a perfect example of how anything can happen. It’s not the type of job we like to do often, but we are very proud that when Custom is needed to replace something very dear, that we are able. White and Yellow Gold Smokey Quartz and Diamond Cocktail Ring

This White and Yellow Gold Smokey Quartz and Diamond Cocktail Ring was commissioned by an old co-worker as a gift for her Mother. The piece was fabricated from the customer’s old jewelry. We used the diamonds and the gold to re-cast the new ring. The design was loosely based on a snipping from a magazine, and computer designed. A smokey quartz was used as the center stone and set right here at Custom, along with nearly 100 diamonds. With gold prices currently at a high, now is the time to dig through your jewelry box for old jewelry you would like to wear again. This customer came in with sketches, and a well thought out idea as to exactly what he wanted in an engagement ring. It took several tweaks to get it exactly right, but with the power of computer design, tweaks are just a formality. Where as some designs lend themselves to hand carving a wax, a job like this would have required starting from scratch each time to make the requested changes. Computer design helped avoid those restarts and led to a perfect design in a shorter period of time. No matter how we end up getting there, we guarantee you will get exactly what you want at Custom. He wanted something unique to show his love and we accommodated by making this Black Pearl Rose and Thorn Ring. Her nickname is Rose and she has the marks to prove it. Hand carved from wax, cast in sterling silver, and set with a stunning round black pearl. There is a thorn on one side, because sometimes, “Love hurts!”. 14k Yellow Gold Elks Tooth Bracelet

There are some things you just don’t get to do very often, as is the case with this 14k Yellow Gold Elks Tooth Bracelet. Bracelets are one of the more difficult projects for a goldsmith, so naturally with craved the opportunity to make one here at Custom jewelry. This customers husband is an avid hunter. She wanted to incorporate 2 pieces of elk ivory into hinged 14k yellow gold bracelet. The ivory is accented with pear shaped smokey quartz. The settings holding the ivory and quartz were carved in wax and then cast. The rest of the bracelet was hand fabricated then attached to the cast pieces to complete the bracelet. The result is the 14k Yellow Gold Elks Tooth Bracelet shown below.

Hand Fabricated Tsoavorite Garnet and Sapphire Ring

One of our favorite types of jobs is when a customer brings in their own gems to have a piece of Custom jewelry created, as is the case with this Hand Fabricated Tsoavorite Garnet and Sapphire Ring. We used the customer’s gold, and a photograph to guide us on this hand fabrication job. With the gems being such fine specimens, it was imperative to showcase them, and not attract too much attention away with the mounting itself. Very light and airy bezels accomplish that goal. Silver Owl Ring

This Silver Owl Ring was a commissioned piece as a gift for a deserving daughter. The young lady is a member of a sorority who’s symbol is an owl. With a few examples to work from, we hand carved the wax model, cast it in sterling silver, and polished it to a bright finish. Below is the final result.
